Ex-Evile guitarist Ol Drake
has been hard at work on his very own solo project since leaving the UK
thrashers in 2013, and the culmination of his work - the mind-blowing
debut album 'Old Rake' - is out now in Europe!
The
six-string shredder's undeniable talent oozes from every one of the
nine instrumental tracks on the album, showcasing a whole myriad of
styles along the way, including flat-out shredding, classical,
progressive, melodic and acoustic.
The album was recorded with producer and former Death/Testament/Obituary guitarist James Murphy and features unmissable guest appearances from Murphy, Gary Holt (Exodus/Slayer) and Josh Middleton (Sylosis). Fear Factory sticksman Mike Heller also provides drums for the entire album.
'Old Rake'
is out now on CD, and we have a number of limited edition signed copies

brave/crazy enough, there's also a 242-page tab book transcribed by Ol Drake himself and featuring full tablature for the entire album for both guitar and bass!
