Excellent concert hier soir au Ferrailleur : du thrash ultime et sans concession !!
Pas de bol pour la première partie... on l'a loupé de peu, juste entendu le dernier shout bien lyrique du chanteur. Ils sont anglais, prometteur... on les reverra !!
Comme dans le monde du sport, les thrasheux d'Angelus Apatrida n'ont rien à envier à leurs collègues américains ou anglais ! Ils nous ont servi leurs meulleurs titres, y compris pas de vieilleries bien old school, nous apprenant à l'occasion que leurs premiers albums allaient ressortir ! ça tombe bien, on les cherchait !
Le set fut très dense, sans temps morts, c'est un peu la marque de fabrique du thrash. Evidemment, un peu trop court à notre goût.
"Hey France, we're Havok from Denver Colorado... " ainsi a commencé une avalanche de "Fucking Rock'n'Roll". No Amnesty pour entamer ce concert quel bon choix, il faut dire que les ricains se sont allégrement servi dans Time Is Up, leur (meilleur?) album sorti en 2011. Et c'est partie pour une bonne heure de folie histoire de bien finir cette petite soirée entre amis. Carrée, coupée au cordeau, leur musique repousse les limites des compos thrash dans la pure tradition. Les riffs façon hachoirs découpent l'assistance qui s'en donne à coeur joie, circle pit etc. Public venu en nombre (salle quasi pleine !) apprécier entre autres les solos de Mr Scruggs et les rythmiques bien envoyées de Mr Sanchez. Il faut dire que les gratteux étaient au rendez-vous, en fin connaisseur !! On en redemande. Allez jeter un oeil aux vidéos... et pardon pour l'éclairage, on avait pas ramené nos spots !
